The so-called "Restaurant Row" on Barton Springs Road, for example is just north of Barton Hills. At the intersection of Lamar Boulevard and Ben White Boulevard, a shopping center nicknamed the "Bubbaretum" allows residents to shop at Central Market, Borders bookstore, and many other retailers. In addition, the attractions of downtown Austin are only a short trip away.
