Central Texas is beginning to show signs that home sales will soon be picking up.

New homes being built have been down over 30% recently for the second quarter compared to the same time a year earlier.   However,  new homes being built are beginning to rise.

These new homes being built could be sign of strong sells that could take place in spring and later months of 2009. Although this is no definite indication of a turn around,  it is a good sign that the market is beginning to move in this direction.
