Shoal Creek Real Estate
The aptly named Shoal Creek neighborhood is centered around Shoal Creek Boulevard and is bounded by Research Boulevard to the north, Anderson Lane to the south, Burnet to the east, and MoPac to the west. This north-central Austin neighborhood provides residents with easy access to most parts of Austin. Despite its proximity to major highways, however, the area is quiet and spacious.Though Shoal Creek is mostly characterized as a largely residential district focused on family-oriented homes, many central Austin businesses have expanded or moved to the area. The Alamo Drafthouse, for example, a well-known establishment, is a combination restaurant-bar-movie theater located on Anderson Lane.

On one hand, the neighborhood is located near major highways and the Northcross Mall, while on the other, it is not far from Beverly Sheffield Park, a recreational oasis with sports facilities, an Olympic-sized pool, as well as picnic grounds and even a fishing pier.
Shoal Creek is also known for offering spacious homes at a relatively low price, particularly compared to downtown areas or properties closer to the University of Texas at Austin.
